Alan Turing's legacy

WAY BACK in the prehistory of computing, Alan Turing posed a question that almost 50 years later is still the subject of intense debate. It's inspired several specialist fields within computer science, fuelled endless amounts of research, and led to all kinds of misunderstandings in the media and popular culture.
