Hello AOL, I'm Listening

IN THE MID 1960s, an artificial intelligence professor at MIT created a computer program whose "personality" was just human enough to make most people believe she was real.

Now a cognitive science student has unleashed the software on the unsuspecting denizens of AOL's Instant Messenger service, and amazingly, she's fooling them again.
